Through your support and dedication, we’ve donated over $800,000 to many well-deserving charities. Last year, we were able to make a donation of $35,000 to Mercy Multiplied and Whiz Kids each. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will be donated to these charities, who contribute selflessly to help build successful lives across the United States We are so grateful that so many of you help to make this event a success year in and year out.
Since 1983, Mercy Multiplied has provided hope and healing to generations of desperate young women who are seeking freedom from life-controlling issues such as:
Physical & Sexual Abuse Including Sex Trafficking • Eating Disorders • Self-Harm • Drug & Alcohol Addictions • Depression • Unplanned Pregnancy
Our free-of-charge biblically-based program serves a diverse population of young women from various socio-economic backgrounds, aged 13-28. Many of the girls, who come to Mercy for help, are facing a combination of debilitating circumstances and have been in various treatment facilities with unsuccessful long-term results. We are committed to providing the young women we serve with the most excellent program services that allow them to recognize their self-worth and prepare them to reach their full potential. Our non-conventional approach to healing allows young women to permanently stop destructive cycles and prepares them to take hope out into their communities.
Team members, under the direction of founder and president Nancy Alcorn, are professionals in their fields, such as counseling, education and social services, and are committed to helping each girl restore hope and stability to her life.
Mercy Multiplied has established locations in Monroe, Louisiana; Nashville, Tennessee; St. Louis, Missouri; and Sacramento, California. The organization has grown beyond the borders of the United States, including affiliates in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Canada. In addition, plans are underway for more sites in America as well as internationally.
According to Nancy, "It is our belief that if we provide places at no charge where girls can come and receive new life through Jesus Christ, as well as professional training in other areas, their lives will never be the same!"
Whiz Kids Oklahoma
Whiz Kids is a faith-based, one-on-one volunteer tutoring/mentoring program that focuses on first through sixth grade students who live in areas which have some of the highest drop-out rates and lowest socioeconomic levels in Oklahoma City. Whiz Kids is proactive and preventative in nature, targeting inner-city schools and students who are reading below grade level and who could benefit most from a one-on-one relationship with a caring adult.
The mission of Whiz Kids is to improve the well-being of inner city youth through academic tutoring and positive mentoring relationships as well as communicating spiritual and moral values.
Whiz Kids volunteers concentrate on self-esteem, reading, communication skills, goal-setting and character building. Many of our tutors build such a strong relationship with their child that they spend years tutoring and mentoring the same student. Tutors are more than just tutors - they are mentors, friends and role models.
WHIZ KIDS MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
For the 2006-2007 school year, Whiz Kids in 4th grade outperformed a matched group of students by 58 points on the Oklahoma State tests, and Whiz Kids in 5th grade outperformed their matched group by 59 points! Whiz Kids performed well above the states "satisfactory" level while the non-tutored children performed well below. Whiz Kids makes a difference!
Whiz Kids has been changing lives, one child at a time since 1996. See how Whiz Kids has made a difference in some of Oklahoma City most desperate neighborhoods:

One of their suburban churches donated $10,000 to finish the renovation of their partner inner-city church. In a 2010 end-of-the-year survey, one Whiz Kid said about the program: "Whiz Kids is special to me. I think it will make me smarter..."
